So Close
So Jean-Yves tells you that now you're looking for the Lost Library. What he failed to tell you was how close you were to finding it when you found the left gauntlet. Yep, back into the Temple.
Backtrack
You could take the long route through the Catacombs, but you can just as easily get back to the Temple's exit. Backtracking through the water is not the most efficient way to get back into the Temple. You can actually drop through a hole in the roof of the structure. Look around the corner of the temple that is adjacent to the top of the grassy hill
