The Desert Railroadisn't the Orient Express, but it will suffice to transport you through the Eastern Desert of Egypt.
Sights to See
 The Desert Railroad runs from Karnak to Alexandria through the Eastern Desert of Egypt. This railway has been running for decads, and the engine and cars show the signs of their age. Nonetheless, it's a charming sight and has never failed to make the trip.

The railroad is primarly meant to transport freight between the two cities, but there is generally room aboard for passengers in a single sleeper car.

In spite of the accomodation for passengers, the train is usually devoid of passengers because the locals generally just jump onto the cars and ride for free.
Stow-aways
 Aboard the train you'll run into other train jumpers, but that camaraderie that people talk about between fellow train jumpers won't be found in these fellows. Keep up your guard.
Souvenirs
You need to locate a crowbar to operate the switches that lack handles.
Hidden Treasures
 There are three secrets. You'll probably find the first one as you explore, but you'll have to use a little elbow-grease to locate the other two.
Hazards
 The assassins that you will encounter are the most obvious hazard, but as a result of encounters with those fellows you will be presented with a secondary, but much more fatal hazard, which is falling off the train. Be careful jumping around on the moving train.
