Sacred Lake (1st)

You'll be just passing by the Sacred Lake of the Temple of Karnak. In case you're in need of a little direction, read on:
Aimless Wandering
Okay, so this sacred lake isn't as big as we made you believe, but you could wander around aimlessly for quite a while if you don't remember what you're here for. Remember that canopic jar? It's time to locate the other of the set.
Puddle Hopping
A few items to pick up and a few critters to kill, but you need to raise the gate that leads into the central structure. If you swim around, you'll actually be able to see the chain that opens it. You just have to get to it. It makes sense that if the chain is below the level of the water, then you should find a way to reach those depths. It will be the dryer of the two likely candidates.
Ten Foot Pole
If you've found the chamber with the two long poles, and you're probably wondering what you're supposed to do next. Getting to the first pole is as easy as falling off a log. To get from the first pole to the second requires you to know that Lara is able to backflip off the poles just like she can backflip off a ladder. That should be enough information to get you past the second pole.
Yanking My Chain
A quick pull of the chain, and a whole world of possibilities are opened to you. Well, just one possibility. It's time to go inside and look for something else to yank on. It's in the structure and it's under water... just barely.
Mirror, Mirror
Have you found the plunger-lever-thing that opens the trapdoor into the tight underwater tunnels? Great. Are you now finding that drowning seems to be the only order of business? Well, find your way to the mirror room. You can surface in there. You just can't see where it is that you can surface. You will only be able to see it through the looking glass.
No Guts, No Glory
Nab the second canopic jar and you're good to go. It should be pretty clear to you where you need to go once you've grabbed the jar.
