The Sacred Lake will just be another waypoint in your itinerary.
Sights to See
 The lake is located on the south side of the Karnak Temple. It is a vast stretch of water surrounded with a magnificent view. The water of the lake comes from the Nile. The encircling walls of the lake have courses of stones with a wavy design, which is the hieroglyphic symbol for the water flow.

Just about every temple has a sacred lake, but none are as magnificent as the one at Karnak. Though your visit will be brief, you'll get a good look at some Egyptian techology. Although the earliest account of the use of glass was recorded by the Roman historian, Pliny, who credits a group Phoenician sailors for the accidental discovery, it is apparent that the Egyptians were able to master glass working.
Local Fauna
 In and around the water you will find a few crocodiles. What is surprising is that you'll also find an indigenous species of bat here at the lake.

In case you've forgotten, the purpose of your trek to the lake is to search for the other Canopic Jar.

 There are none.
Hazards
 The crocs can be a problem early in this level. They can be hard to take down, but will succumb to persistent pistol fire. There is one section where you risk falling to your death, and shortly after that there is a stint requiring significant swimming. The difficulty is to avoid drowning while swimming around in those tight underwater passages.
