| Beneath the tomb's outer chambers are the Burial Chambers. The chambers are full of traps to keep out unwanted grave robbers. Below are a few hints if you're interested: | |||
Seeing Stars
|
Isn't that special? A room all decorated with stars? Nope. Those aren't decals, they're holes. Now, holes are made so that stuff can fall into them or stuff can come out of them. Guess which one this is going to be? Don't just stand there! Jump! | ||
Overgrown Food Processor
|
You think you're looking at the world's largest food processor and you're wondering how you're going to get across. Well, if you're not interested in the shotgun and shells, then there's some good news for you. It's going to be a breeze. There's two different ways to get across. One involves playing hopscotch over the blades. The other involves a lot of shimmying. If you choose to shimmy, you should know that Lara can go around corners now. | ||
Auto-Pilot
|
When you investigate the large sarcophagus Lara will do the rest, which will set into motion a very complicated set of events. Whether you like it or not, you're about to participate. | ||
Redecorating
|
A sarcophagus bleeding fire, you are being chased around by mummies, and there's no apparent exit. That's an unfortunate situation. You need to do a little redecorating. It involves the statue in the coffin room with the two mummies. Where to put it? Look on the ground for a clue. | ||
Search and Retrieve
|
To leave the burial chamber, you need to collect two more artifacts. The gold doorway at ground level isn't where you need to go right now. There's a alcove with a gold ladder and a rope bridge to a very interesting room. Get moving. | ||
Waking the Dead
|
Above the alcove with the golden ladder is a room with two mummies and an artifact on a pedestal. You should know better by now. Look around first, before you pick up the artifact if you want to spare yourself some stress. | ||
Unexpected Turns
|
If you're in a long octagonal room and wondering what to do? There's a few hoops you need to jump through to retract the spikes in the tunnel at the far end of the room so that you can collect the second artifact. It's fairly straightforward. There's a gate below the tunnel you entered from that needs to be opened. Then the fun begins. Pull another lever, and you're in for a surprise. From that point, you need to collect another little artifact. In order to place it in it's receptacle, you need to return the room to it's original state. | ||
Shifting Sands
|
The final room of the of the chambers is no trickier than the others, and pretty cool if you think about it. All you need are two words of advice: keep moving! | ||
