Meteorite Cavern
Items: 7
Kills: 7
The Meteorite Cavern itself is fairly trivial, it's just that Doctor Willard isn't too keen on letting you get away with the artifacts. Here are hints to help you get through:
Spider Races
This level should be reminiscent of the last levels from the two previous Tomb Raider games. The level will begin with one of the hardest battles you'll have to deal with in the game. This is how it's laid out: You start on one side of a diamond shaped ledge, while Willard, now transformed into a fireball launching spider-creature starts on the opposite side. If Willard gets too close, but you both are still moving, he will strike at Lara with his front legs. Each strike will reduce her health by a quarter. If he stops and gets a line of sight on you, then he will launch a green fireball at you which will result in instant death for you.

As soon as the spider decides which direction around the ledge he is going to start running, you should turn and run in the same direction around the ledge, so as to stay in front of him. Be careful because pools of lava surround the ledge. The spider is slightly faster than you are, so in order to keep ahead of it, you should take a running jump down the long straightaways. Avoid sprinting, because it's hard to maneuver the corners while sprinting. If you start to overtake the spider, it will jump up and turn around and start running the other way. If this happens, you need to reverse roll and start running in the opposite direction too.

Here are the relevant hints: You cannot kill the spider so long as the meteorite is exposed. The four artifacts at the end of each short hallway that extends radially from the meteorite cavern are the key to raising or lowering the meteor. Although you cannot kill the spider, you can stun it briefly. This would be a good place to use the rocket launcher.
Enough Said
After killing Willard, there's not much else to be said. You just need to climb out of the meteorite cavern and head for home. It should be fairly simple to figure out how to climb out of the lower cavern, because there's only one way out and the route is fairly obvious. Just follow the ledges you can reach, and you'll be on your way out. Watch out for the RX-Tech men. They're not so friendly anymore.
