Turn left and find a gang member (1)
standing in a hallway. Now that Lara has agreed to help the gang, the
gang members will no longer initiate aggression towards her. Follow the
gang member down the hall as the tunnel bends to the right. Run down
the next hall and there will be a gang member (2) in an alcove on the left. Further down the
hall, is another gang member (3) in an
alcove on the right. Continue forward until Lara reaches a room with two shallow pools and two passages. Choose the left passage and follow the passage to the left. Lara will pass a door, and when she reaches the end of the tunnel, turn right. Slide down the slope, and the door that Lara just passed, and a spiked ceiling will begin to descent. Run forward and when Lara reaches the corner, turn right. Jump up and grab the ledge. Release the jump key, and press down the crouch key. Pull up to the tunnel into a crouched position to avoid the spikes that are descending from above. Lara will slide forward down the slope to a ledge below. Step forward and drop to the room ahead. Turn right and push the button to open a trapdoor above and to the right. |

SECRET #1
|
Turn around and walk forward through the opening to a large cavern. Turn right and run to the far right side of the rock ledge and drop down to a flat brick ledge. Turn right and safety drop to the ledge below to a small patch of the ledge below that isn't covered with barb wire. Turn right and walk to the opposite end of the trench. Turn left and climb up into the crevice. Turn left and back Lara out of the crevice to drop to the ledge below, SECRET #1. Turn around and head diagonally to the left and collect a large Medi Pack (1) and a box of flares (2). Step backwards and jump up and grab the ledge above. Turn right and pull up to the ledge above. Reverse roll and walk forward to the left corner. Aim Lara toward the opening and take a running jump or a standing jump and grab to reach the opening. Run forward and Lara will be back in front of the opening. Turn right and vault back up into the opening. | ||
| Turn around and side step to the right to pull up to the ledge above. Climb up onto the wire mesh and take a back flip off of it. Turn around and walk forward and turn right. Collect a large Medi Pack (3) and then turn around and walk forward. Turn left and walk back to the edge of open trapdoor. Take a standing jump and grab to reach the wire mesh. Shift to the left so that Lara is above the barb wire. | |||
SECRET #2
|
Climb up two blocks so that there is a corrugated aluminum panel to Lara's left. Lara's fists should be at the top edge of the wire mesh and slightly above her on the left is an open wire mesh with a reddish light coming out of it. Press and hold the reverse roll key, and with the action key still depressed, press the jump key to back flip off the mesh, twist in midair. Release the jump and reverse keys but keep the action key depressed to grab a wire mesh on the opposite wall. Climb all the way to the top of the wire mesh and in order to climb up into the alcove, Lara will have to release and immediately grab so that she is hanging from the edge of the alcove instead of the wire mesh. Pull up into SECRET #2 and crawl forward and collect a rocket (4). Back Lara out of the alcove and return to the wire mesh. Climb down so that Lara is just below the aluminum panel on the right and perform the back flip, twist and grab to return to the first mesh. | ||

Climb up the wire mesh until Lara is just past an open mesh on her
left with a green light shining behind it. Lara's feet should be
lined up with the top of the grate in front of the green light.
Lara's hands should not reach the metal band of the wire mesh above.
Take a back flip off the mesh and Lara will land in a small alcove
where she can collect a crystal (5) and a
box of shotgun shells (6). Take a
running jump out of the alcove and grab the wire mesh. Shift to the
right and crawl all the way up to the top of the wire mesh and pull up
into the tunnel above. Crouch down and crawl all the way down the crawlspace. Notice the sphinx in the large room below. When Lara reaches the end of the crawlspace, turn right. Collect a box of shotgun shells (7). Turn around and crawl back down the crawl space. About halfway back down the crawlspace, there is a shaft in which Lara can stand up. Stand up and turn left. Climb up to the next ledge and pick up a small Medi Pack (8). Draw weapons and drop into the next room. Take out a guard (4) on the right. Run to the left corner and pull the block in the corner once. Take a side flip to the right and run around to the other side of the block and push the block once. This will cause a stone pillar to slide down a trench in another room. Step out of the trench, and run forward to the button. Press the button to open the door and immediately take a back flip and draw weapons. Kill a guard (5) that rushes into the room. When the second guard is dead, run forward through the open door and down the hallway. Halfway down the hall, turn right and enter a room that has been modeled after an Egyptian tomb. Run forward, to the left of the brick structures, and vault or jump onto the brick ledge in the back of the room. Turn right and collect a small Medi Pack (9) from the stone ledge. Run forward and drop to the ground. Turn right and run to the stone step. Vault or step onto the step and turn right. Vault up, step forward onto the next step and turn right. Step forward up onto the next ledge and climb up into the opening. Run forward and turn left. Enter a small room and run around to the right. Push the block once to block the entrance to this room, and the pillar will slide down the trench and block off the entrance to the large room outside and raise a wooden platform. Climb up onto the stone block and turn left. Climb up into crawl space and turn around. Crawl backwards and have Lara lower herself down to the tunnel below. Turn left and drop down to the ledge below. Walk forward and step down. Walk to the end of the ledge and angle Lara to the left. Jump and grab the wooden bars. Swing forward and turn left. Release from the bars and grab the ledge below. Pull up and run forward to collect a crystal (10). Hop backwards and safety drop to the ground. Turn left and run up onto the first step. Vault up onto the next step and turn right. Vault up to the next ledge and turn around. Take a standing jump and grab to return to the bars. This time swing forward and turn right. Swing across the platform and release and grab the lower ledge. Pull up and run forward. Pull the lever to open a wooden door elsewhere in the room. Hop backwards to the end of this ledge. Crouch down, and have Lara lower herself to the ground. Turn around and run forward, turning left to step or vault onto the first step. Run forward and climb up to the second. Turn right and climb up to the third step. Run forward and turn left onto the ledge. Turn left before Lara gets to where the ledge bends to the left. Take a standing jump and grab to reach the ledge above. Reverse roll and take a standing jump from this end of the small ledge to a ledge on the wall. Walk forward and throw the switch to close the wooden door below. Reverse roll and take a standing jump back to the ledge. Turn left and walk forward to the edge of the ledge. Angle Lara to the left and take a standing jump down to the ledge below. Climb up the wooden door that Lara just closed, and shift to the left when she reaches the top. Release and reverse roll and walk forward. Angle to the left and take standing jump to the brick ledge. Run diagonally across the ledge to the adjacent ledge, and Lara will skip over the corner onto the next ledge. Turn left and face the left corner. Run diagonally off of the ledge to skip onto the ledge slightly below. Turn left and pick up a box of flares (11) and a box of shotgun shells (12). Reverse roll and run forward. Vault back up onto the ledge and take a standing jump over the hole down to the opposite ledge. Step forward, vault up to the next ledge and turn right. Walk forward to the edge of a slope1. |

Embalming Fluid |
Step forward to slide down the slope and immediately take a jump and
grab just before Lara slides off the end of the slope to reach the
opposite ledge. Pull up and step forward through the open door. Turn
right and vault up to the higher ledge and then step forward. Turn
left and Lara will find herself at the top of a ramp. Ahead, on a
ledge are two Sarcophagi that are bathed in a strange green mist.
Step forward and slide down the slope onto the broken tile.
Immediately take a standing jump forward and grab to pull up onto a
ledge between the two Sarcophagi and pick up the Embalming Fluid
(13). Crawl forward and follow the crawlspace as it turns to the left. Collect a pair of Uzi Clips (14). Crawl forward and draw weapons. This is one of the few places that Lara can shoot at an enemy from a crouched position. Wait for a guard (6) to appear in the hallway below, and kill him from within the ventilation duct. When he's dead, turn around and have Lara lower herself to the ground. Turn around and run forward to the dark end of the hallway. Turn left and crouch down. Crawl forward into the crawlspace, and follow it as it turns to the right and then back to left. Without hesitation, crawl forward into the next room. Immediately stand, draw the Desert Eagle, and kill a guard (7) on the left that will already be shooting at Lara as she was crawling into the room. When the guard is dead, push the button to the right of the doorway, and two sets of doors will open that will lead back to the previous hallway. Step through the newly opened door and pick up a rocket (15). Turn around and reenter the room. Turn left and head for the hole in the floor. Turn left and take a standing jump and grab to reach the mesh on the ceiling. Swing forward, and press the walk key to shimmy to the right when the mesh on the ceiling continues to the right. Swing all the way to the end of the wire mesh, and Lara will drop onto a metal platform. Collect a crystal (16) on the left and turn around. Side step to the left to line Lara up with the long part of the wire mesh on the ceiling. Take a standing jump and grab to reach the wire mesh. Swing forward and stop before Lara reaches the part of the mesh where it widens and continues to the right. Shimmy to the left and release to land on top of a giant sphinx2. Walk and side step so that Lara is in the center of the block. Turn Lara to the right so that she is facing the part of the ceiling that points downward. Take a blind standing jump and Lara will land on a flat ledge below, taking some damage when she lands. Pick up the small Medi Pack (17). Turn left and safety drop onto the back of the sphinx. Turn left again and hop backwards to slide off the side of the sphinx. Grab the bottom edge of the slope and release to drop to the ground below3. |

SECRET #3
|
Turn right and walk forward to the edge of the small slope. Either side step right and take a standing jump from the upper edge of the slope or side step left and take a running jump to the brick column. Turn left and take a running jump and grab to reach the upper edge of a sloped ledge. Pull up and Lara will begin sliding forward. Take a jump off the slope to reach the ledge on the wall. Turn left and run down the ledge to SECRET #3. Pick up two rockets (18, 19) and collect the crystal (20). Run back down the ledge to the side of the sphinx. Turn right when Lara is just behind the head of the sphinx. Take a running jump to reach the shoulder of the sphinx. Slide backwards and grab the shoulder of the sphinx. Release and drop to the ground. | ||

Turn right and run forward toward the front right paw
of the sphinx. Jump up and grab the paw of sphinx and a guard (8) will arrive from the left4. Release, draw weapons and take a side flip
to the left. Kill the guard and reverse roll. Run forward to the
front of the sphinx and turn left. Run across the front of the
sphinx, and turn left. Run along the other side of the sphinx, and
turn right when Lara comes to a hallway between the second and third
columns on the right wall. A guard (9)
will emerge in the hallway, so draw weapons and take him out.
Continue down the side of the sphinx and collect a box of shotgun
shells (21) from an alcove to the
right. Turn around and run back along the sphinx and turn left to enter the hallway where Lara shot the guard. Run up the stairs, and carefully look around the guard for a small Medi Pack (22) that he will drop. Run up the stairs and when Lara reaches the top, look up to locate a ledge above the top of the stairs. Jump up and grab the ledge and pull up to the ledge. Turn left to locate a movable block. |

SECRET #4
|
Walk forward to the movable block and turn left. Take a standing jump and grab to reach a crawlspace slightly above the ledge on the opposite wall. Pull up into SECRET #4, and crawl forward. When Lara can stand, step forward to collect a rocket (23) and a large Medi Pack (24). Hop backwards, crouch down, and crawl backwards until Lara can lower herself down to the ground below. Turn around and walk forward to jump up, grab, and pull up back onto the ledge, and then turn left once more. | ||

Pull the block once and turn right. Hop backwards and grab the ledge.
Shimmy to the left until Lara is beneath the block. Climb up the
block and past the block onto a wire mesh. When Lara reaches the top
of the wire mesh, shift right until Lara can release into a small
tunnel. Turn right and run to the end of this small tunnel and
reverse roll. Take a jump and grab to reach a higher tunnel. Run
forward to the end of this upper tunnel and drop through a hole on the
right at the end of the tunnel. Turn left and drop to a lower tunnel. Lara will find herself in a tunnel sandwiched between two movable blocks. Reverse roll and push the block once to reveal a passage back to the top of the stairs in the previous hallway. Reverse roll and run forward to the other block. Pull the block twice. Turn right and hang from the ledge. Shimmy to the right. Climb up past the block to the top of the wire mesh. Shift right and release into the small tunnel. Jump and climb up into the higher tunnel. Run forward to the end of this upper tunnel and drop through a hole on the right at the end of the tunnel. Drop forward down to the lower tunnel, and now Lara has access back to the gang's hideout. Drop down to the room with the two pools and run forward. Enter the tunnel on the right and run up the tunnel, following it as it bends to the left. When Lara returns to the gang leader's chambers. Set the embalming fluid on the ledge on the right with the Egyptian hieroglyphics. A door to the left will open for Lara's successful completion of her errand. Turn left and run forward through the open door. Run forward and a trapdoor will drop out and Lara will fall down a long shaft. Swim down and grab the underwater propulsion unit and steer it forward into the underwater caves past a grating on the right. The water currents will not allow Lara to swim or drive the underwater propulsion unit back past this grating. Ahead, a crocodile (10) will swim into the large underwater cavern. The crocodile will not attack Lara so long as she is operating the propulsion unit. Aim the propulsion unit at the croc and fire a couple of harpoons at it. When the croc is dead, swim into the first small underwater tunnel on the right which is marked by a wooden London Underground sign. Inside the side cave is an breathing hole, so release the underwater propulsion unit, surface and let Lara catch her breath. Swim down and across the large underwater cavern into the small tunnel on the left of the opposite side of the cavern. Pick up two bundles of harpoons (25, 26) in the tunnel and swim forward into the small side cavern to collect a crystal (27). Flip turn and swim back across the large underwater cavern to the first side cavern for air. Dive down and swim across the large underwater cavern to the small tunnel to the right of the first tunnel, just beyond where the electric lights. Pick up two bundles of harpoons (28, 29) and then swim into the small side cavern and pick up a large Medi Pack (30). Flip turn and swim back to the first cavern for air. Dive down one last time and exit this cavern, and turn right. Swim to a the small underwater tunnel on the right and into the small cavern to pick up a pair of Uzi clips (31). Flip turn and exit this small underwater cavern and return to the first side cavern for air. Ready the harpoon gun and exit the small underwater cavern. Grab the underwater propulsion unit and exit the small cavern. Turn right and drive the unit forward to the right of a rock column, down to a small platform on the cavern floor. Release the unit and pick up a pair of harpoon (32, 33) bundles from the rocks. Immediately grab the propulsion unit and kill a crocodile (11). After killing the croc, drive the propulsion unit back to the first cavern for air. Leave the propulsion until and exit the side cavern. Turn right and swim past the rock column to the far right corner and pick up a small Medi Pack (34) then turn left and swim behind a rock ledge near the back wall and pick up another bundle of harpoons(35). Turn left and swim back to the side cavern for air and to retrieve the propulsion unit. Drive the propulsion unit out of the side cavern forward to where the electric light bulbs begin. Turn the propulsion unit to the right and drive the unit down to the bottom of the large underwater cavern. When Lara nears the bottom, turn the underwater propulsion unit to the left and drive the propulsion up the underwater tunnel. The currents will sweep Lara up into a pool. Release the propulsion unit and surface. Pull up out of the water onto the a ledge that divides the pool. Pick up the two bundles of harpoons (36, 37). Drop into the water ahead5 and swim down and to the right. Swim forward to the far end of the next underwater tunnel, and turn right once more. Swim forward and pull the underwater lever on the right to drop a trapdoor in the underwater tunnel Lara just swam through. Flip turn and swim back to the left to reenter the underwater tunnel. Angle Lara to the left and surface in the open trapdoor. Pull out of the water on the right and turn right to pull up once more to a higher ledge. Lara will be able to see a diver and a guard in the next room. Turn right and push a button to open an underwater doorway back in the underwater tunnel. Turn right and drop into the water below. Turn left and swim forward and turn left. Swim forward into the open underwater doorway and it will close behind Lara when she swims through the tunnel. To avoid detection stay low in the water and only surface along the water-filled trench to the left of the entrance to this room. Swim straight ahead until Lara reaches the end of the water-filled trench. |

SECRET #5
|
There are two small underwater tunnels. Swim into the underwater tunnel on the left to enter SECRET #5. Swim down to the bottom and pick up a pair of Desert Eagle clips (38). Exit this underwater cavern, and stay submerged. Turn left and swim all the way back to the underwater tunnel back that led into this room. Turn right and swim to the end of the water-filled trench and surface to refill Lara's lungs. Dive back down and swim back down the trench, turn left and swim forward. | ||

Take a hairpin turn to the right and swim into the underwater tunnel
which widens into a small underwater cavern. Swim forward and pick up
a small Medi Pack (39) on the floor on
the right and flip turn. Swim forward and pull the underwater lever
to open a trapdoor. Exit this underwater cavern and take a hairpin
turn to the left. Swim back down the trench back to the tunnel that
Lara entered this area from. Turn right and swim all the way to the
end of the trench and surface. Pull out of the water on to the ledge
to the right. Climb up onto the next ledge into a crouched position. Crawl forward and and to the right. When Lara reaches the end of the ledge, turn around and have Lara lower herself over the edge and drop into the water. Swim through the tunnel, collecting a crystal (40) along the way. Surface in when Lara reaches the other end of the tunnel and pull out of the water. Crouch down and crawl forward and turn left. Crawl forward until Lara can turn left and crawl onto a rock ledge behind some crates. Stand and run forward to the end of the passage and turn right. Run forward up the rocky slope and take a jump into a tunnel to the left at the end. Turn left and run forward. Where the tunnel turns left, turn right and climb up into a crawl space. Turn Lara around and have her lower herself into the room beyond. Collect a crystal (41) and a box of flares (42). Climb back out of this room, and have Lara lower herself out of the crawl space. Draw the Desert Eagle and run forward. When Lara reaches the end of this hallway, a guard (12) will emerge from the left and activate an alarm. Kill him quickly, keep the Desert Eagles drawn, and run forward to the end of the ledge and jump down to the ledge below. Lara will take a little damage when she lands on the ledge below. Turn left and kill the diver (13) in the water, and run forward and kill the other guard (14). |

Boiler Room Key |
Run forward along the ledge to the dead guard and pick up the Boiler
Room Key (43) from the dead guard. Climb
up to the ledge that the diver was formerly standing on, and grab some
more harpoons(44). Run forward and drop
to a rocky ledge to the left and pick up more harpoons (45). Turn around and vault back up to the
ledge above. Turn right and run to the other end of the ledge. Drop
to the ground below and turn left. Run forward to the sandy area and vault up onto the crate and drop into the pit beside the closed door. Pick up three sets of harpoons (46, 47, 48). Turn around and vault out of the the pit onto the crate. Run across the sandy area and face the water where it passes between two metal ledges. Walk forward to the edge of the sandy area and angle Lara to the right take a running jump to the metal ledge on the right. Turn right and climb onto the next higher ledge. Run forward and diagonally to the right and drop into a pit. Pick up a large Medi Pack (49). Turn around and vault out of the pit. Run forward and follow the path down to a triangular metal ledge. Take a running jump over the water to the opposite ledge. Turn right and run forward to the end of the ledge. Turn left and run along the sloped rocky path until Lara reaches a low flat ledge on the left. Vault onto the the ledge and climb up onto the highest ledge in front of Lara. Turn around and take running jump and grab to reach the upper surface of the platform along the left wall which has the alarm light underneath it. Turn right and run forward to the other end of the ledge. Collect another bundle of harpoons (50). Turn back around and run to the other end of the platform. Turn left and take a standing jump down to the previous ledge. Step down onto the lower ledge and turn left. Crawl forward into the crevice and turn left. Crawl backwards and have her lower herself into a pit behind the crawl space. Turn around, pick up a small Medi Pack (51) and step forward to climb up into the crawlspace above. Crawl forward until Lara can stand. Turn left and drop to the wooden crates below. Run forward and turn right. take a running jump from the crates to the ledge the diver was formerly standing on. Run forward and drop down to the ground beyond the ledge. Turn right and drop into the water. |

SECRET #6
|
Swim forward along the trench and turn right. Swim into the underwater room, which is SECRET #6. If Lara didn't manage to kill the diver before he closes the doors to this underwater room, then this SECRET will be unavailable. Collect four sets of harpoons (52, 53, 54, 55), a crystal (56), and a large Medi Pack (57). There is another underwater propulsion unit in this room. Grab onto it and pilot it out of the underwater room. | ||

Head along the underwater trench to a diamond shaped tunnel at the
bottom of the end of it. Quickly surface and pull out of the water.
Draw weapons and kill another diver (15)
that will emerge from the tunnel. Head to the end of the diamond
shaped tunnel to a large square underwater cavern. Each wall as four
tunnels that lead out of the large underwater cavern6. When Lara reaches the large cavern, she
will find a crocodile (16), immediately
turn back and return back down the tunnel in the lower right[B,
LR] to the water filled trench. Climb out onto the ledge and kill the croc with pistols. Jump back into the water and head back down the tunnel to the large cavern. Once Lara is back in the large cavern, turn right. Quickly head toward the upper left tunnel[R, UL] and head upwards and surface for air. Return here whenever Lara needs air7. Dive back down and swim into the large cavern. Flip turn and swim to upper right alcove[R, UR] the wall ahead and grab the underwater propulsion unit from the dead diver. Pilot the propulsion unit into the large cavern and turn around and return to the upper left tunnel[R, UL] to surface for air8. Leaving the propulsion unit for now, dive down and return to the large underwater cavern. Swim forward and take a flip turn and swim to the lower right tunnel[R, LR] collect a large Medi Pack (58). Flip turn again and swim forward, taking a hairpin turn to the right to return to the upper left tunnel[R, UL] and swim upwards for air. Dive down and swim forward into the large underwater cavern. Turn left and head for the lower left tunnel[B, LL]. Head to the end of the tunnel and take a hairpin turn to the right. Pull the lever to open an underwater door in another tunnel. Swim back to the large cavern and turn right. Swim to the upper left tunnel[R, UL] and swim upwards for air. Dive down and use the underwater propulsion unit. Exit this tunnel to the large cavern and turn left and head to the upper right tunnel[B, UR]. Follow the tunnel as it turns left and then downward. Level off the propulsion unit and release from it. Enter the underwater doorway on the left that Lara just opened. Swim to the end of the tunnel, and pull the lever to open another underwater doorway in another alcove. Flip turn, collect the small Medi Pack (59), and return to the propulsion unit. Turn it around and head back to the air hole by piloting the unit forward, upwards, forward, turning right and heading to upper left tunnel[R, UL]. Surface for air. Swim across the large cavern to the upper right tunnel[L, UR]. Follow the tunnel to the left and turn the propulsion unit around and leave it just outside the newly opened underwater door. Swim into the open doorway and collect a crystal (60). Turn left and pull the lever on the left wall to open the final trapdoor, and release two divers (17, 18) into the waters. Quickly flip turn and swim to the propulsion unit. Quickly pilot it forward while avoiding the diver's harpoons and to the right to return to the large cavern. Turn the unit to the right again and return to the water-filled trench by way of the lower right tunnel[B, LR]. Surface quickly and pull out of the water onto the ledge beside the trench. Wait for the divers to arrive in the trench and kill them from here. It may be necessary to swim back to the large cavern to lure the divers out. When the divers are dead, drop into the water, grab the propulsion unit and head back down the long tunnel to the large cavern. When Lara returns to the large underwater cavern, turn left and head into the lower left tunnel[L, LL] collect a crystal (61). Turn the propulsion unit around and head to the upper left tunnel[R, UL] of the opposite wall for air. Take the propulsion unit down and return to the large cavern. Immediately turn right and head into the upper right tunnel[F, UR] of the adjacent wall. Turn right and head for the end of this underwater tunnel. Drive the unit down and to the right into the recently opened underwater trapdoor. Dive down, turn right, and then head the unit upwards, and Lara will rise up a long shaft. When Lara nears the surface, release the propulsion unit and surface. Pull up onto the only ledge that Lara has access to. Look ahead down the length of the room to find two burners that are lit and prevent Lara from crossing the room. Instead, drop off the other side. Lara will land on a lower ledge. Step forward once more to drop into the water. Swim across the pool and pick up a bundle of harpoons (62) on the floor of the pool in the far left corner. Flip turn and swim forward. Pull the underwater lever on left side of the far wall to turn off the burners above, and then surface. Pull up out of the water and turn right. Pull up to the higher ledge and turn right once more. Take a standing jump to the first burner and a running jump to the second. Turn left and take a standing jump over the steep slope to the slope above and pick up a large Medi Pack (63) and a pair of Uzi clips (64). Turn around and slide back down to the burner. Turn left and take one more running jump to reach the last ledge. Run into the tunnel and follow it as it bends to the right twice. Stop when Lara hears the loud metallic sounds. Ahead are three large metal pistons that will stamp down from above. Walk up as close to the piston and when it begins to rise, run forward and stop before reaching the next piston. Repeat to pass the remaining two pistons. Climb up to the higher ledge and run forward to the end of the ledge. Turn right and take a running jump and grab to reach the wire mesh on the ceiling. Swing forward, shimmy to the right, and swing forward. When Lara reaches the opposite side of the room, release and she will drop onto a ledge below. Turn left and run forward to collect flares (65) and Desert Eagle clips (66). Turn around and walk forward. Climb up the to the ledge above. The passage below the ledge returns to the area before the burners. The tunnel ahead leads to a tall shaft, but there's nothing to be gained in that direction, so turn around and jump up and grab the wire mesh on the ceiling. Swing forward, shimmy to the left, and swing forward until Lara is at the waterfall. Release from the mesh and grab the crawlspace below. Pull up into the crawlspace and turn around. Have Lara crawl backwards and lower herself into the passage below. Use the boiler room key on the lock on the left to open the door at the end of this passage. Run into the open door and collect a crystal (67) and then push the button at the end of the passage to open a trapdoor in one of the tunnels off of the large cavern. Turn around and run back to the other end of the passage and pull up into the crawlspace. Crawl forward and turn around. Have Lara lower herself out of the crawlspace and she will slide down the waterfall and splash back into the water column. Use the propulsion unit to dive down to the bottom of the water column, and a crocodile (19) will emerge in the passage. Either use the propulsion unit to fire harpoons at the croc or pilot the propulsion unit to lure the croc to the surface and kill the croc from the safety of the ledge. When the croc is dead, pilot the propulsion unit down to the bottom of the shaft and return to the previous tunnel by way of the trapdoor. Turn the propulsion unit to the left and follow the tunnel to the left to return to the underwater cavern. Pilot the propulsion unit directly across the cavern to the upper left tunnel[B, UL] and turn the unit to the left. Don't bother trying to surface for air in the upper left tunnel[R, UL] on the wall to the left because the air pocket is gone. Near the end of the tunnel, turn the unit to the left to pilot it into the recently opened underwater door. Pilot the unit all the way up to the top of this column of water and release the unit and surface. To one side, Lara will find a room filled with crude oil with mechanisms swinging back and forth. Head to the opposite side of the pool and pull up onto the ledge. Pick up a large Medi Pack (68), and drop back into the water. Cross the pool and pull up onto the opposite ledge. Side step to the left side of the ledge. Turn and face left and side step to the right. When the pendulum swings to the right, take a side flip to the right and then side step to the right. Turn right and take a standing jump and grab to reach the next ledge. Shimmy left, pull up and wait for the pendulum to swing to the right, and take a running jump to the last ledge. Draw weapons and take a jump into the tunnel on the far end of the room. Run forward and a guard (20) will emerge from the left. After dispatching the guard, the tunnel will continue left and emerge at the other side of the shaft that she could reach from the boiler room, but that tunnel won't help Lara either. Turn around and head back toward the room full of crude oil, and turn right when Lara was one block short of the mouth of the tunnel. Climb up into a tunnel above. Step forward and climb to the higher ledge. Run forward and slide down the ramp and run forward to pull up to a higher ledge. Turn right and vault up to the next tunnel. Run up the slope and turn right. Run forward to the edge of the tunnel and Lara will be near the top of the shaft. Take a running jump and grab to cross the shaft. Release and grab the crevice below. Pull up and crawl forward. Turn left and crawl up the sloped crawlspace. Turn left and crawl forward through the last segment of the crawlspace until Lara can stand up. Turn left and take a running jump and grab to reach the crawlspace across the shaft. Pull up into the crawlspace and turn left. Crawl forward up the sloped crawl space until Lara reaches the end of the crawlspace. Turn around and have Lara lower herself into a pit below. Turn around and vault up onto the slope and Lara will slide down to the lower tunnel. Finally crouch down and crawl forward to enter Sophia Leigh's office. |
