Draw weapons and step forward. A bunch of bats will be startled and
fly out from under the ledge on the left. Run forward past the two
columns and kill a lizard man (1)
that will be climbing down the rock ledges ahead and on the left. Turn
right and face the water and kill a second poisonous lizard man
(2) that will climb up the from the rocks
below1. Turn around and head back between the two columns and climb up into a hole. Collect a small Medi Pack (1) on the right and Uzi clips (2) and grenades (3) ahead. There is a wooden trapdoor on the left1. Turn around and drop down to the ground back through the hole. Run forward and angle to the left of the left obelisk. Climb down to the ledge just below the edge of the ravine where the second lizard man climbed up earlier. Turn left and drop to the next lower ledge. Drop down one more ledge to the lowest ledge. Turn right and side step to the left. Take a standing jump to the rock in the middle of the rapids. Turn left to see a ledge at the corner of the rapids where it bends to the right. Lara can't reach the ledge from here, so aim her toward the right corner of the sloped ledge that is just to the right of the flat corner ledge. Take a running jump and grab to reach the ledge. Shimmy left until Lara is hanging from flat ledge at the corner. Release from the ledge and immediately grab the ledge below. Pull up into the gap and crawl forward until Lara can stand. Walk forward and angle Lara to the left and take a standing jump to the next alcove, collecting a crystal (4) in the process. Walk to the button and push it to open the wooden trapdoor. Turn around and walk forward and angle Lara to the right. Take a standing jump diagonally to the right back to the previous ledge. Run forward and pull up onto the ledge above. Jump straight up and grab the vegetation growing on the underside of the archway above. Swing forward across the torrent and release when Lara reaches the other side of the river. Hop backwards and grab the ledge. Shimmy to the right, past the crevice, until Lara can pull up. Turn around and side step to the left. Angle Lara to the left and take a running jump. Lara will land on a slope and slide backwards. Grab the bottom ledge and shimmy to the right. Pull up when Lara reaches a flat ledge. Angle her to the left and take a standing jump into the tunnel. Run forward into the cave. On the left is a closed bamboo door. Instead, turn right and run forward until Lara can drop down into the tunnel. Turn and face away from the next slope and hang from it. Let go and press jump to back flip off the slope below over the deadly spikes. Turn around and drop down to the next lower ledge. Turn around and run forward and turn right and stand in front of the crawlspace. Crouch down and crawl forward a single step and then crawl back. Stand up and and draw weapons. Kill the lizard man (3) that crawls out of the space. When it's dead, crouch down and crawl forward. When Lara can stand, do so and run forward, vaulting up the the two ledges. Run forward onto the rope bridge and into the next cave. Turn left and run forward and drop down to the lower ledge. Walk out to the end of the ledge and angle Lara to the right. Take a standing jump to the rocky ledge and collect a crystal (5). Turn around and draw weapons. Angle right and take a standing jump back to the previous ledge. Kill another lizard man (4) and run forward. Climb back up into the cavern and run forward. Turn right and run forward back across the rope bridge. Run back into the previous tunnel and drop down the two ledges to the tunnel below. Crouch down and crawl back into the previous tunnel. Run forward and turn right. Run forward to the slope. Take a standing jump up the slope and run forward. Turn left and run up the slope. Draw weapons before Lara gets to the top ledge and take out another lizard man (5) that will crawl out onto the top ledge from the left. Run forward to the top of the ledge and turn left. Drop down to the alcove on the left. Push the button on the left wall to open the bamboo door in the first cave. Turn left and vault back up to the higher ledge. Turn right and run back down the slope. Turn right and run down the next slope. Run forward to the end of the tunnel and follow it as it zigs to the left. Climb up to the higher ledge. Walk forward through the spikes. Turn left and climb up onto the rock wall. Lara will take a little damage as she jumps up. Climb up to the higher ledge by shifting to the right. Turn right and climb up to the higher ledge using the next scalable rock wall. Release when Lara is back in the upper cave and turn right. |

SECRET #1
|
Walk forward and turn around. Hang and carefully drop down to the ledge below so as to not accidentally fall into the deadly waters below. Turn around and face the waterfalls on the left. Take a standing jump to the slope on the left in front of the waterfalls. Step forward through the falls, into SECRET #1 and draw weapons. Kill the lizard man (6) below and then drop down into the darkness below. Lara will probably slide down a slope, but turn left and drop down to the lowest area and turn left and pick up MP5 clips (6). | ||

Walk out to the end of the doorway and side step to the left.
Take a running jump and grab to reach the flat ledge. Run forward and
climb up onto the next ledge. Take a running jump down to a triangular
ledge ahead and below. Step backwards and to the far right
corner. Angle Lara to the right and take a standing jump down to a
triangular ledge below. Lara will take a tiny bit of damage when she
lands on the lowest ledge. Walk forward and to the left as far as Lara
can on the small triangular ledge. Angle to the left and take a
standing jump through the waterfalls, down to the ledge behind the
waterfalls below2. Turn around and run forward. Vault up to the higher ledge and take a hairpin turn to the right. Take a standing jump up the slope and turn left. Climb up to the next ledge and turn around. Side step to the right and when Lara is lined up in front of the part of the ceiling of this cavern with vegetation growing on it. Take a running jump and grab to reach the ceiling. Swing forward and turn right. Swing until Lara reaches the ledge and release. Walk forward to the end of the ledge. Take a standing jump forward and then keep the jump key depressed and Lara will bounce off the slope below. Grab the pillar and pull up. Take a running jump and grab to collect the crystal (7) in midair, lighting the flames on the top of the middle column, and grabbing the far ledge. Walk forward and draw weapons. Kill a lizard man (7) that's running around below. Take a running jump over to the far alcove. Climb up onto into the passage above. Turn left and run the end of the tunnel and pick up a small Medi Pack (8). Turn around and run forward, stopping before Lara reaches the carved faces. Crouch down and crawl forward as darts shoot out from the carved faces. Stand up when Lara is clear of darts and slide forward to the ledge below. Walk forward and turn right and step forward. Turn left and jump up and grab the vegetation on the ceiling. Swing forward until Lara reaches the end of the vegetation and release. Drop down to the lower ledge and turn right. Run out onto the wooden bridge to collect a crystal (9) and then reverse roll. Run forward across the wooden bridge, until Lara reaches the end of the ledge, and turn left. Jump up and grab the vegetation overhead. Swing forward and follow the vegetation as it turns to the left twice. Swing all the way forward until Lara can release and drop safely to a ledge. Vault into the tunnel on the right and turn right. Crawl forward to reach a ledge that overlooks the water. Walk forward to the end of the left and turn left. Angle Lara a little to the right and take a running jump and grab to reach the opposite rock face. Climb up onto the higher ledge and turn left. |

SECRET #2
|
Run forward until Lara is against the wall and take a hop back. Take a
single walking step forward and then take a back flip. Lara will jump
over a ledge and slide backwards, finding SECRET #2. Grab the bottom
of the ledge and shimmy to the right. Release when Lara is over the
wooden platform. Turn right and take a diagonal jump to the rock
ledge. Turn right and take a standing jump over the waterfalls to the
ledge beside the hut. Turn right and walk all the way to the end of
the ledge and take a running jump to a low ledge ahead and slightly to
the left. Turn left and run up the steps and enter the hut. Pick up a
large Medi Pack (10) and a rocket (11) and then exit the hut. Run forward down the steps and take a hairpin turn to the right. Aim Lara at the ledge to the left of the hut and take a running jump to reach it. Run forward and turn left and take a jump back across the stream. Angle left and take a jump to the wooden platform. Lara's next destination is a distant ledge across the wide waterfalls but the jump to it is quite difficult. Step backwards as far back as possible without falling off the wooden platform, and then side step to the left until Lara is in the corner. Take a single side step to the right. Angle Lara slightly to the right. Use the look key to scan up and down to make sure Lara's head will clear the rock that is above her so that she will not not bump her head as she jumps past. Now take a running jump and angle Lara to the right in midair. Lara will land on the very corner of the ledge below. Run forward and climb up onto the ledge above. Turn right and take a running jump and grab to reach the rock face across the waterfall. Climb up to the upper ledge and turn left. |

Run into the tunnel on the right and follow it as it turns left. Run
forward and draw pistols. When Lara reaches the end of the ledge, look
down and kill two crocs (8, 9) that are
swimming around in the water. When both are dead, dive into the water
and take a flip turn. In the wall below the ledge Lara was standing
on, she will find an underwater lever that will open the wooden gate
above. Flip turn again and surface next to the kayak. Climb into the
kayak and take this opportunity paddle around the calm waters of this
reservoir to practice maneuvering the kayak. When Lara is confident with the kayak, have her turn around and face away from the open gate. Paddle through the gates backwards and when Lara goes over the steep part of the falls, start paddling forward and to the left. Lara will flop off the left side of the falls, and into the calmer waters. Fight the current and turn the kayak to the left to collect the crystal (12) behind of the waterfall. Back paddle and allow the current to carry Lara down stream. Keep Lara against the right wall of the river to avoid taking damage from hitting the rocks, and also avoiding the red rope. If Lara crosses the red rope on the left side of the river, she will need to fight the current to avoid getting impaled by falling stalagtites. When Lara reaches the lower portion of the river, fight the current and have Lara paddle over the green rope on the left. It will shut off the swinging blades on the right. When the blades have stopped, drop down the next stretch of rapids. Lara will cross on the left, but immediately she needs to get to the right side of the rapids to avoid taking damage on the rocks below. At this point the river forks3. Paddle hard to the right through the vegetation. Lara will paddle down a tunnel where the tunnel forks again. Avoid the left fork which has a red rope that activates darts. Follow the right path and soon Lara will find herself in a cavern with red ropes stretching across the rapids. If Lara crosses the red ropes, spikes will shoot up beyond the rope. Try to keep the kayak in the center of the rapids. After avoiding the first red rope on the right side of rapids, there is a green rope on the far left. Try to cross the green rope which will make a crystal appear that Lara can collect later. Avoid the next two set of ropes, first on the left and then on the right. There is a structure in the middle of the river, which forks the river again4. Take the left fork and fight the currents and try to stay in the middle of the stream. The waters will go over a set of waterfalls where Lara can collect another crystal (13). Make sure to try to fight the currents to slow Lara's descent into the lowest part of the rapids. Now Lara will find herself in a room with a gate on the right. Paddle forward and to the left to fight some rapids. Paddle hard upstream and actually climb up the rapids into a large circular cavern with a large chain connected to a boulder that is set in the floor of this cavern. |

SECRET #3
|
Paddle hard to the right and Lara will enter a tunnel and paddle against the current. Follow the tunnel as it turns to the right. Paddle forward hard and eventually Lara will make her way behind a waterfall and into SECRET #3 where she can collect a crystal (14). Follow the current and head back into the room with the boulder and chain. | ||

Across the large circular cavern to the left are some
rapids that Lara will be able to climb in the kayak. Follow the
rapids as they curve up and to the left twice. Eventually Lara will
end up in a calm room where the water is very deep. Jump out of the
kayak and quickly swim to the low ledge. Pull up out of the water and
draw weapons. First kill a lizard man (10) that will attack from the left, and then
turn around and turn the pistols on the crocodile (11) that's swimming around the deep
waters. When both enemies are dead, turn back around and run up the stairs, turning left twice. When Lara reaches the end of the ledge, turn right and drop to a ledge below with an open wooden gate. Take a standing jump and grab to reach the vegetation growing on the ceiling. Swing forward and follow the vegetation on the ceiling as it winds to the left, then to the right twice, and then back to the left. Swing forward carefully and avoid swinging into the flaming breath of the carving on the right. Swing and look to the right to make sure that Lara is as close to the flames without crossing into the flames. Swing forward as soon as the flames recede. Repeat this procedure to avoid another flame breathing carving on the left. Swing forward and follow the vegetation on the ceiling as it bends left. Release when Lara reaches the end. |

Rocket Launcher
|
Turn run around, walk forward to the end of the ledge. Angle Lara to
the left toward the next ledge, being careful to aim Lara at the right
corner of the opposite ledge to avoid having her hit her head on the
low ceiling on the left. Take a running jump over the river to the
opposite ledge. Step forward into the alcove and pick up the rocket
launcher (15). Turn left, vault onto the ledge, and then climb up onto the high ledge. Run forward to the end of the tunnel and safety drop to the ledge below. Turn left and walk to the end of the ledge. Angle to the right and take a standing jump to the next ledge. Walk forward and to the left and stop before Lara reaches the waterfalls. Angle Lara slightly to the left and take a standing jump to reach the small ledge. Pick up a large Medi Pack (16). Turn left and take a running jump and grab to reach the ledge across the river. Step forward and collect MP5 clips (17). Turn around and aim Lara slightly to the left toward the part of the ledge to the left of where she picked up the Medi Pack from. Take a running jump and grab to return to the previous ledge. Turn right and walk forward. Angle Lara to the left and take a jump back to the previous ledge. Run forward, and vault up to the ledge on the left. Climb up the wall and shift to the right to reach the small ledge. Release and turn around. Jump up and grab the ceiling and swing forward. Stop just before the carving that is breathing fire. When the flames recede, quickly swing forward past it. When Lara passes the flames she will reach the waterfalls. Turn left and swing to end of the vegetation. Release and turn right. Run forward, skirting all the slanted slopes, into the dark alcove and collect flares (18) and shotgun shells (19). Turn around and run back to the ledge beside the waterfall. Turn left, jump up, and grab the vegetation on the ceiling. Swing all the way across the falls to the opposite side. Release, and Lara will fall a distance to a ledge below. Turn left and run forward to the end of this ledge. Angle Lara to the left to find a flat ledge across the river, and take a running jump to it. Turn around and angle Lara to the left again. Be careful not to aim too far to the left or Lara will take damage from the spikes. Take a running jump and grab to reach the wall on the opposite side of the river. Climb up and to the left until Lara can release over a ledge. Turn left and walk forward into the dark alcove. Turn around and climb down the long vertical shaft. Turn right and run forward to the ledge and crouch down. A boulder will roll toward Lara and sail over her head. Vault over the ledge, run forward and crouch down when Lara reaches the next ledge. A second boulder will roll down and sail over Lara's head. Vault up onto the next ledge and walk forward, stopping before Lara gets to the middle of the room. Turn to the side and hang from the ledge over the flames below. Shimmy past the middle of the ledge. This will prevent the boulder above the entrance from rolling down. Pull back up when Lara is past the middle of the room. Continue to the end of the ledge. Turn left and take a standing jump into the next hallway. Take a standing jump over the flames and run forward and crouch down in front of the ledge to avoid one more boulder. Run up the slope and climb up to the ledge above. Walk out and to the right. Step out onto the ledge and take a running jump angled to the right to reach the next ledge. Turn right and grab onto the wall and shift to the left until Lara reaches the next ledge. Release and crawl into the opening on the left. Run forward and around to the left to step out to another ledge. From the center of this ledge, angle Lara to the right and take a standing jump to the rock in the middle of the river. Aim Lara to the right edge of the next rock ledge, being sure Lara won't hit her head on the low ceiling, and take a running jump to the next ledge. Take a standing jump to the next ledge and collect a crystal (20) if Lara managed to cross the green rope earlier. Turn right and grab the rope slide and slide down to the structure below. Release before Lara reaches the end of the rope to land on the ledge outside the structure so as to not take any damage. Run into the structure, dropping onto a small ledge, and then to the grated floor. Cross the room, walking around the big chain, and climb the carved wall beyond. Pull up and draw weapons. Kill a lizard man (12) that will attack from the right. Turn left and run around the tunnel to the left and pull the lever on the right to raise the chain, pulling up the boulder with it. Now draw weapons again, and turn right and head back down the tunnel. Turn left and walk down the long dark tunnel, and a torch will suddenly light at the end of the tunnel. Another lizard man (13) will crawl up through an open trapdoor on the right. Kill it and drop into the hole on the right. Run forward and slide down the slope on the left to return to the room with the kayak. Drop into the water and climb into the kayak. Paddle the kayak out of the pool and to the right. Follow the rapids as they bend to the right and empty into the large cavern which now has a huge whirlpool in the middle. Allow Lara to be sucked into the whirlpool and fight the current a little to slow her descent into the pool below. Lara will take a significant amount of damage when she hits the pool below. Paddle to one of the ledges at either end of this lower room. There is a crocodile (14) swimming around in the pool and hounding Lara. Paddle the kayak backwards and forwards quickly to try to get the croc away from the kayak. Jump out of the kayak, quickly swim to one of the ledges and pull out. Draw pistols and kill the croc. Dive into the water and swim underneath the ledge with the closed wooden gate. Locate the underwater lever and pull it to open the gate and release two more crocodiles (15, 16) into the water. The best way to get to safety is to take a flip turn and swim right past the two crocs and pull up on the opposite ledge. Kill the two crocs and dive into the water. Swim across the pool and pull out onto the opposite ledge. Run forward through the open doorway to enter the temple. |
