| Welcome to the sunny South Pacific. We hope you enjoy your time here in this lush tropical paradise of the Coastal Village. | |||
Sights to See |
Welcome to the coastal village on the island of Kuru, an
unincorporated territory northwest of Papua New Guinea. The natives
call the island Kuru after the illness that often plagues the natives
of this island. While exploring the coast and surrounding areas, make note of the beautiful coral reefs and the tropical fish that inhabit them. Spear fishing is a favorite pasttime of the locals. Other local activities include swimming, rock climbing, and bush-walking [hiking]. The volcanic origin of the islands provides fertile soil for lush tropical rain-forest, beautiful waterfalls, and many natural cave formations. Besides the natural wonders of this island are the structures that the natives have built on this island. Although the natives of surrounding islands are subsistence farmers, the natives of this island are said to have returned to the old ways. |

Local Fauna |
Aside from the harmless tropical fish in the lagoon, there are just a few crocodiles to worry about around the village.
Natives |
The natives are not friendly, and not only are the natives restless, they're hungry. Watch out for them as they try to sneak up on you and have you for dinner.
Souvenirs
|
Depending on the path you choose, you may need to pick up three lovely serpent stones scattered around. Someone also left behind a harpoon gun, so you might want to snatch that up while you're here.
Hidden Treasures |
There are four secrets in this level, but you are only required to find three of them for this level. The first and last secrets are laid out pretty much in plain sight. It's the middle ones that are going to be a bit tougher to find.
Hazards |
There are lots of traps in the temple and a couple of pits of quicksand to worry about. The natives are aggressive, but not hard to handle. A common way of dying on this level will be falling to your death, so watch your step.
