|
| Well, this is what happens when you try to trespass onto US military installations. We hope you enjoy your stay in the stockades at the High Security Compound. | |||
Sights to See |
Nellis Air Force Base is named after First Lieutenant William
H. Nellis, a World War II P-47 pilot who was killed in Europe on
December 27, 1944 and is an Air Combat Command facility (ACC).
The United States Air Force (USAF) demonstration squadron, commonly
known as the Thunderbirds, are based at Nellis. This area of the base is known as the High Security Compound (HSC) and its services includes advanced high altitude aircraft/satellite tracking, surface-to-air defense installations, aircraft hangers, supply depot and of course the stockades. |
||
Compound Security |
The HSC is heavily guarded by military police. The MP's are armed with police batons or pistols.
Inmates |
Aside from yourself, there are many other military prisoners being held in this facility. The reason for their incarceration is unknown.
Souvenirs
|
In order to escape the compound, you will need to recover a series of keycards and security passes. Along the way, it is vital to recover or obtain weapons.
Hidden Treasures |
There are two secrets in the HSC. One near the beginning and one near the end. Both are easily overlooked, so be sure to search thoroughly.
Hazards |
Being unarmed and having to face armed MP's will be a fundamental theme in terms of hazards. Aside from the security forces, watch out for the razor-wire or barbed-wire that has been generously spread about and laser beams. There are at three basic types of laser beams. Green laser beams often set off alarms or activate security guns while yellow will inflict damage when you cross their beams. Contact with a red laser will result in instant death. In the satellite dish tower, be careful of falling to your death, and watch for the currents and the deadly propeller in the pool underneath the tower.
