Temple Ruins
Items: 51
Kills: 30
We see that you have ignored the warnings and decided to explore the Temple Ruins. Aside from the imminent death that is sure to be found in this temple, there are yet wonders to behold.
Sights to See
Amidst the humid subtropical jungles of Uttar Pradesh, you can find ancient Hindu temples. Most of these ancient temples are fairly small and humble, but in this case is large and filled with passages and tunnels.

This temple was built as a place of worship, primarily for Ganesha and Shiva. Ganesha, who is the Hindu god of knowledge and remover of obstacles, has an elephant's trunk and four arms and is the older son of Shiva. Throughout the temple you will find statues of Kali, which has dark skin and eight arms. Hindus believe that Kali is the wife of Shiva and the goddess of destruction.

The temple is surrounded by waterfalls, forests, and streams, but don't let the calm exterior fool you. The temple is full of traps and other supernatural dangers.
Local Fauna
Aside from the monkeys and piranha that you should already be familiar with, here at the temple, you will also find cobra. The cobra that are indigenous to this area are highly venomous. There is no other wild life to be found in this area, but there is one other creature, that is quite unnatural, that can be found in these ruins.
Souvenirs
There are five Keys of Ganesha that you will need to pick up. Appropriately named, these keys will remove the obstacles that prevent you from exiting the temple.
Hidden Treasures
There are four well hidden secrets in this level. One interesting feature of the third secret is that you cannot access it without activating it from the second secret. So if you miss the second one, you've also missed the third. The first is easy to miss unless you make a habit of pushing against every single wall you encounter. You will be able to see the exit from the final secret, but the challenge will be to locate its entrance.
Hazards
The most common way to die in this level is by one of the many traps. There are boulders, spiked walls, spiked ceilings, swinging blades, spiked pits, and collapsing ceilings. If you manage to survive these major traps, there are also minor traps to deal with, such as poisonous darts and fire breathing statues. Once all the traps are dealt with, there is still the little matter of that creature we mentioned earlier. Thare are a few occurrences of it, but only the last one will present a problem.
