| Welcome to India. With a population of 953 million and a culture that is as diverse as the population is large, your stay in India is sure to be interesting. India is one of the worlds oldest civilizations and as you wander through the Jungle of India, you are sure to cross one of its many old temples. | |||
Sights to See |
The jungles of India are filled with beauty and danger. The jungle is
generally covered with a lush green, due to the nearly year round
rains. Enjoy the majestic forests and the crystal clear rivers and
streams. If you are lucky you may come across the ruins of an old
temple. Because of the constant rainfall, beware of where you step, as there can often be large areas of quicksand. Also take care when visiting the streams and rivers, as often their currents can be quite strong and will sweep you downstream. As with all jungle safaris, be aware of the local wild life. The monkeys in these parts are fairly friendly and quite mischievous, but the Bengal tigers are neither friendly or playful. In your search for the temple, be aware that the builders regarded them as sacred places and took some precautions to discourage infidels from desecrating them. Just watch your step, and you should be okay. |

Local Fauna |
Expect to see lots of playful little monkeys and a few tigers during your trip through the jungle.
Souvenirs
|
In order to proceed deeper into the temple ruins, you will need a key to open the final gate.
Hidden Treasures |
There are six in the jungle, but the first is easy to miss. The next two are in plain sight, while the remaining three are well hidden in quite ingenious locations.
Hazards |
Aside from the tigers, this level is quite straightforward. There are only a couple of traps, and they're all easy to avoid. There's also one major patch of quicksand, but there's no reason to go wading around in it, so if you avoid it, you shouldn't have a problem here.
