Willard's Lair
Items: 41
Kills: 21
Welcome to Willard's Lair. If you had known the guy lived in a creepy hole like this you probably would never have trusted him in the first place. Oh well, it makes for a good story, right? If you need a few hints for making your way through, read on:
Slippery Slope
Your first move in Willard's Lair is a blind leap into trouble. If you keep your cool, you can probably survive on your first try, but most likely you'll be caught off guard, and you'll have to try again. Keep in mind that a round boulder is taller in the middle than at it's sides.
Gravity Games
Now what? Follow that boulder and you'll eventually find your way to a dark chamber full of gravity-defying boulders. Of course the boulders spell trouble. Make your way through the boulder room and you will find yourself at the top of suspicious slope.
Wall's Closing In
No you're not suddenly getting claustrophobia. That wall actually is closing in. In fact a whole bunch of them will be closing in soon. You have a couple of choices here in terms of avoiding the spiked walls but we're just going to tell you that if you move quickly, keep moving, and keep your cool, you should be able to find your way through.
Upward Progress
Okay, after getting past that prickly situation, you're going to start climbing. Eventually you'll come to what will initially appear to be a point where there's nothing to do but allow rubble to crash down on top of your head. Now we direct your attention to the vines on the walls. There's a bit more climbing to be done.
Command Center
See what a villain Willard really is? Just like every good villian trying to dominate the world, Willard has a command center with a big map. Investigate all you like, but you'll only get a few clues to his grand scheme. Progress will only be made if you head toward the bookcases in the corner.
Moving Books
Nope, we don't have a list of New York Times best sellers for you. The books aren't going to move you. They actually move! Well, technically the bookcases move. As you walk past certain points amidst the bookcases, some will flip open or close. A little running around and lever pulling should take you to the heart of Willard's lair.
So What's New?
Okay, once again, someone's beaten you to the punch, and you have to feel a little silly slogging through Willard's castle, when someone else blasted a hole in the back side, swooped in and took the goods right out from underneath the guard's noses. Well, that's it for Scotland. You might as well head home. Be careful about that glowing blue-green ooze. It's definitely not good for your health.
