Sinking Submarine |
Items: 15 |
Kills: 5 |
| Welcome back to the Russian submarine. Unfortunately, it's now a Sinking Submarine. More things are different than just the rumbling and water pouring into the submarine. Here are some tips to get you through. | |||
You Must Be Famished
Well, all this running around and you haven't had a bite to eat in hours. Well, explore as you like, but you need to make your way back to the mess hall. To refresh your memory, recall that the mess hall is on the deck below this one. Of course the one hallway with the flaming oil will be the one that leads there.
That's Shocking!
Once you return to the mess hall, don't go rushing in. The three live wires dangling in the water of the flooded mess hall has electrified the entire mess hall. You must cross from one side of the mess hall and exit through the doorway on the other side. You could run through the electrified water, but you will take damage every moment that you are in contact with the water. Instead, consider finding a path across the room that will keep your feet dry.
Don't Leave Home Without It.
You have yet to explore the control area of the submarine because you lack a swipe card to unlock the door that leads to that area. Conveniently for you, a Russian mobster standing around down here is holding the needed the card. Once you've collected your prize, you need to cross the mess hall once again.
Road Not Traveled
Back through the mess hall and the flaming corridor, you're now equipped to open the door that leads up to the control rooms. To help you along, turn right past the flaming corridor outside the mess hall, as you came down from the left corridor.
Path of Least Resistance
Or if you're talking about the electrified water, can call it the path of infinite resistance. For those of you that aren't electrical engineers, I mean you should go ahead and explore tbe areas that aren't electrified. Eventually it will bring you to the bridge of the submarine. Here you will find a door that leads up to the escape pods, where you'll run into the skipper of this vessel.
Electricity Crisis
Now to deal with all your electricity woes before you collect the air canister for the escape pod. A major obstacle to your obtaining the canisters is the areas that are flooded and electrified. However, a loose ventilation grate high on a wall in the bridge of the submarine will provide you acccess to a small room that holds a switch that will shut down the juice that is currently electrifying the flooded areas.
Breathing Exercises
In case you didn't know this, most of the air we breath consists of nitrogen and only about twenty percent of the air we breath is the oxygen we need, and that's the mix normal healthy people need. So in order to equip the escape pod, you must find a canister of nitrogen as well as a canister of oxygen. One can be found in the auxillary control room, and the other in the Admiral's state room. The Admiral will give you the key you need to get into the Admiral's stateroom.
Up, Up, and Away
Once you have both the nitrogen and oxygen canisters, you can install them in the escape pod, and jump this sinking ship.
